Dr. Supaporn Chuangchid (Honoris Causa) has dedicated over 34 years to higher education administration, serving at the Center for International Affairs, Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand, and as the founding Executive Secretary of AUAP since its establishment in 1995 at Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. A recognized leader in international academic cooperation, she has been instrumental in building AUAP into a globally respected organization that advances cross-border collaboration, policy dialogue, and innovation in higher education. Her expertise in institutional partnership development, global networking, and capacity building has positioned her as a key architect in strengthening the role of Asia-Pacific universities in addressing global challenges through education, research, and sustainable development.
In addition, she has been the driving force behind several visionary platforms, notably the Asia Pacific University Fellow of Eminence, the Learning & Sharing Forum, and a series of international forums and networking mechanisms designed to strengthen academic partnerships and foster sustainable collaboration among universities worldwide. Her leadership has consistently transformed innovative ideas into concrete outcomes that enhance global engagement, advance higher education, and empower the next generation of leaders.
